House Pilot (“we,” “our,” “the service”) is a WhatsApp-based assistant that helps house owners with questions about home construction, renovation, and handover — covering topics like design, structure, materials, costs, contractors, defects, and auspicious dates.
This policy explains what information we collect through our WhatsApp integration and how we use it.
Information We Collect
When you message our WhatsApp number, we may collect and store:
- Your WhatsApp phone number
- The content of messages you send to us
- Timestamps and metadata associated with your messages
- Conversation history, to maintain context across your interactions with the assistant
We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data unless you voluntarily share it in a message.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Generate relevant responses to your questions via AI language models
- Maintain conversation context and memory across sessions, so you don't have to repeat information
- Improve the quality and accuracy of the assistant's responses
- Diagnose and fix technical issues with message delivery
Third-Party Processing
To generate responses, your messages are processed by third-party AI language model providers. These providers process message content solely to generate a response and are not used for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Messages are sent and received via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which has its own privacy policy governing message transport:

Data Retention
We retain conversation data for as long as needed to provide the service and improve response quality. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact below).
Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our servers and databases.
Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about your phone number
- Request deletion of your conversation history
- Stop using the service by simply no longer messaging the WhatsApp number
Children's Privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
